Fist of the North Star is out early next year in Japan, and so SEGA has decided to reveal the game's official PlayStation 4 box art. Featuring an illustration penned by Tetsuo Hara, the artist of the original manga, it's not the kind of cover you see all that often these days -- it's definitely got an old school look to it.
In case you didn't know, Fist of the North Star is being developed by the team behind the Yakuza series, and based on what we've seen of it so far, you could almost call it a reskin. There's no word on a Western release yet, so we're hoping and praying that the publisher announces something once the game's out in its home nation.
What do you think of the box art? Please don't ask us about Ken's absolutely massive hand in the comments section below.

Glorious cover.
His arm is as big as her entire body! One of his fingers is like the size of her arm. 😅
The art is nice though.
Could be an ad for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. I approve.

@Th3solution Exaggerated/stylised body forms was always part of FOTNS
But also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMiKyfd6hA0
So stylised it would make a great poster.
i want this so much...
If this gets an Eng release, this better be the cover!
@Cassetticons Still haven't forgiven SEGA for this...
Yakuza 3 Japanese box art:

Yakuza 3 Western box art:

Classic
Even the brush stroke element from the logo looks like the one from the Yakuza series.
@ShogunRok That's a crime against art, nothing beat ico japan to usa box though lol
I'm not familiar with Fist of the North Star at all, but this is still a cool cover.
@ShogunRok Well, I mean, the cover perfectly reflects how Sega treated Yakuza 3 when it came out!
@Cassetticons That's a good point.
This game will be announced for the west on PSX, at least I hope so.
@PS_Nation i hope that at least for kiwami 2,especially since i just tried the JPN demo
New Hokuto no Ken game (by Yakuza producers!) and the manga being published in Brazil! What time to be a Hokuto no Ken fan!
That cover is ridiculously cool looking. Not a HnK fan, but I might actually nab this game.
more manga artists should do the covers for games, adds a bit of authenticity to it i reckon
It embodies the same charm and spirit that mid-to late 80's action manga like Fist of the North Star were, Giant disproportional muscle men saving the damsel in distress. But seriously I do love the art, but I know well enough that Sega's probably going to change the cover art to something else over here in the west, if not that'll be awesome to see.
Wow i like it. Not just classical , it's something beyond that
Just look at that creepy color palette
I want it really 😢
