With the voice acting strike over, Ashly Burch will reprise her role as Chloe Price in Life Is Strange: Before the Storm’s bonus episode, Farewell. Hannah Telle – who played Max Caulfield in the original series – will also return, marking a comeback of sorts. Rhianna DeVries adopted the role of Chloe for the main three episodes of the Before the Storm prequel story, and will continue to be involved with the franchise moving forwards.
While publisher Square Enix is keeping schtum, it seems to us that the Farewell episode will take place before the events of Before the Storm, and will tell the tale of Max moving away. Unfortunately, you’ll need to have bought the Deluxe Edition of the title to get it – a move which caused some controversy earlier in the year. In the meantime, fresh information on Episode 3 will be released imminently.

I really like Before the Storm. We will see how it will end but the problems that I saw in the first game are not in the sequel. I really hated the writing on Chloe, the stealth sequence was way out of play and the ending was not on par with some earlier moments like the suicide subplot. BtS has a more likable and believable set of characters and it is somewhat more grounded.
Do we have any news about the 3rd episode? Seems like the 2nd was released forever ago.
So presumably Ashly is unlikely to return as Chloe for the sequel then if Rhianna is staying on?
@belmont Yeah, I think I might actually prefer Before the Storm, too — and I LOVED the original. I too prefer the more grounded storyline.

@Rob_230 Nah, Rhianna is doing MoCap. They can't say it in the press releases and stuff, but it's pretty obvious she was only brought in because of the voice actor strike.
Life Is Strange 2 may not be about Max or Chloe, of course.

Hahaha. Ashley and Hannah are so adorable together. They really do fit their characters. Always great to see voice actors enjoying what they do.
Waiting until all of the Before the Storm episodes are released and just going to buy them all together and binge play the series like I did the first. Hopefully this bonus epIsode will be included in the bundle at the end. Not a fan of the episodic release format, but that’s okay - I can wait.
@Th3solution Same here - I'll happily wait rather than support buying the silly deluxe edition or whatever. I want the whole story!
