For those of you who don’t know, Sony weirdly started a collectible card series at PlayStation Experience a few years back. It’s been adding to its collection of foil-embossed ephemera at various events like E3 and Road to Greatness, and once again the popular paper-based goods will return at PSX 2017 later in the year.
“Series Three will start with #77 and contains around three dozen new cards, all of which will be released at PSX 2017 in Anaheim, California this December,” marketing specialist Tiane Bella wrote on the PlayStation Blog. Cards this time will include blockbusters like Destiny 2 as well as more niche titles like PlayStation VR platformer Moss.
You’ll also be able to earn uber-rare Trophy cards; everyone will grab the Bronze gong for attending PSX 2017, while you may have to put in a little extra work to get the Silver, Gold, and Platinum prizes. Of course, you can still book tickets to the PlayStation-centric convention through here.
