Yakuza: Kiwami 2 is set to be a thoroughly entertaining return to what is arguably one of the best titles in the series. Yakuza 2 launched on the PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2006, and thanks to the lovely looking Dragon Engine -- which also forms the basis for the upcoming Yakuza 6 -- the adventure is back with a bang.
SEGA streamed over 20 minutes of gameplay footage at TGS 2017. We get to see Kazuma kick the crap out of thugs and take a walk around Sotenbori -- a location those of you who played Yakuza 0 will no doubt be familiar with.
Meanwhile, the second video gives us a glimpse of the game's clan creation minigame, which is kind of like a real-time strategy take on gang warfare. It looks nuts, and it's worth pointing out that the minigame also plays a part in Yakuza 6.
Kiwami 2's probably going to be good, then, but are you burned out on Yakuza? Unleash the dragon in the comments section below.

So beautiful ;_;
More Yakuza the better I say, fantastic franchise.
Here's hoping they redo 1-5...
Since I'm going through Kiwami right now, this'll likely be the next Yakuza game I play. Afterwards, I plan on playing the rest of the series.
I would love to be able to play 3 to 5 on PS4 until 6 arrives, but that's impossible, sadly.
Not burned out. The series went away for too long, and I missed 2 because by the time it released over here I had moved on from PS2 to PS3, 360 and Wii. Would be cool to get a chance to play this. A long time ago I'd have been worried we might not get it here but I have a feeling Sony will have a trailer ready to go for the Western version at the end of the year. Probably wouldn't get the re-release until after 6 though.
Need to play the Kiwami one first! Just waiting for a sale
