How about some good news to get your day started? Last month, developer Falcom queried fans on whether it should port The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II to the PlayStation 4. Both games -- the second being a direct sequel to the first -- are currently only available on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. Both games are also fantastic Japanese role-playing adventures, we might add.
And now for the good news part: Falcom's apparently working on bringing them to Sony's current-gen console. According to a new Japanese magazine called Sen no Kiseki -- as translated by Gematsu -- Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo says in an interview that the developer is currently preparing both titles for PS4. He also says that we can expect more info soon.
Obviously there's no official mention of the games coming to PS4 here in the West, but we don't see why they wouldn't, especially since The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is on the horizon. Hopefully we'll have more to go on in the near future.

If/when these get brought West on PS4 we'll hopefully have the time to review both.
Tried to get into this series with the first coldsteel game about a month or so ago.
Honestly I fail to see why some people think its so good. Felt very similar to Persona, but with a lot less interesting story.
Playing the first on the vita atm. First few hours are a slog to be honest, but ill stick it out and see
Loved the first one but had so much else to play and the fact I hardly ever use my ps3 anymore that I haven't got round to buying the second one so this is good news indeed
@SuperSilverback It's a bit of a slow burner to be sure, but it sets things up really well, especially for the second game.

Would happily play them. There's a lot of set up on these games but then the payoff is usually worth it
Holy cow !!! I want them so bad ! Missed them yet on the vita so I will just wait and get them on PS4 ^^
Currently playing the second game. About 70hours in. The cold steel games are up there in my top 10 games off all time. My wish is for the third game to be on vita or switch. I like playing these games on the go.
