Ubisoft loves a good cinematic trailer, and that's what it debuted for Assassin's Creed Origins during Microsoft's rather low-key Gamescom 2017 livestream thing this evening. This one really sets the scene on the forthcoming Egyptian adventure, and concludes with protagonist Bayek acting all bad ass. The game's out in October on the PlayStation 4 -- just try to ignore all the Xbox branding if you can.

Part of me wanted to see a Moses cameo trying to free the slaves.
The game looks great but the retarded edition system made me pass. The most expensive edition and you still dont everything from another edition om the lower tier.
Here's a perfect example of the misrepresentation of trailers for games - Assassins Creed has ALWAYS been a poor sandbox game, and whilst this trailer does look good and as a fan of Egyptology I WANT it to be good, I suspect it'll be the same low-grade game which still bizarelly generates 9/10 before being swiftly forgotten.....
Let's see, shall we 🤔
Now this is a really good trailer! Hopefully the game is also great!
