Doomfist Announced as the 25th Overwatch Hero

Doomfist has been a long rumoured Overwatch hero for months now and was teased on Twitter earlier this week but he has finally been officially revealed with a new origins story and developer commentary video on the Overwatch YouTube channel. He has also been made playable for those players on the Player Test Realm on the PC which means we will most likely see him released on PlayStation 4 in a couple of weeks.

Disappointingly for fans that were hoping for Terry Crews to voice Doomfist, it is not so. Thus, no one will be Crews'in for a bruisin' anytime soon!

Don't like him, not Terry,
and beats up Genji and Tracer!

Probably relesead next tuesday!
Maybe Terry Crews will voice an USA character sometime
Anyway this hero is almost just what I wanted (unfortunately he is not a tank, wanted tank)

@Bliquid that doesn't mean they can't release 2 heroes of the same category in a row!
Besides I think that they should switch Symmetra to defence and release 2 support heroes ASAP, as I feel that the support healer class is very limited right now

I love how people are bashing Blizzard for teasing Crews for so long, when Crews himself actually did more promotion and teases than Blizzard themselves. Maybe they should be directing their anger towards him as well for teasing absolutely nothing.

Always happy to get a new character in Overwatch. From what I have heard he sounds a bit OP, still though can't wait to try him.

@Tasuki Well he is still only on the PTR and all the other characters had slight tweaks after being on there, so I wouldn't be surprised if Doomfist is adjusted slightly. I can see them slowing down his Ultimate movement speed, seems a bit quick tbh.
