Arc System Works, the Japanese developer behind BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, and the recently revealed Dragon Ball FighterZ, has announced that it's working on a crossover fighting game featuring characters from various franchises.
The title's called BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, and its debut trailer was just shown during Evo 2017. It shows main BlazBlue characters Ragna and Jin, who are then joined by Yu Narukami from Persona 4 and the Persona Arena games.
There are no real details to go on yet, but take a look at the aforementioned trailer that we've embedded above and let us know if you're hyped in the comments section below.
Update: BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is scheduled for a 2018 release. No platforms have been specified yet but we certainly wouldn't bet against it being on PlayStation 4.

Looks cool! I'd love to see the Joker or another character from Persona 5.
Hasn't Blazblue well ... ended? Guess they can still make crossovers.
I like their games. I am not a fan of fighters when you change characters mid game.
I would love these guys to do a PS Allstars game.
This is the most random selection of characters.
Looks completely barmy but amazing at the same time.
Ruby Rose from RWBY vs Ragna the Bloodedge? HELL YEAH!
Updated the article with more info.
My guess Arcade first then PS4, PC and maybe Xbox 1, no Vita or PS3 this time.
That reminds me, I should give RWBY a second shot. I loved the first series, but lost interest in it during the second series.
they should have did a blazblue vs gullty gear crossover
Well, this was an unexpected mash up. Throw in some Skullgirls and Guilty Gear characters as well and you got yourself one of the best crossover fighting game since Smash. Eat your heart out, MvC Infinite!
Also, is about time we got a decent RWBY related game. The Grimm Eclipse game was terrible.
Honestly cool to see ArcSys take on Ecole/French Bread's Under Night universe, but I'll be honest, seeing Ruby show up was just the pleasant surprise I needed to get really hyped for this! Which is great, because I - unfortunately - just can't drum up that much enthusiasm for Blazeblue on its own. Probably because they never number it, so none of the entries seem like good jumping in points. They all just seem like more "Super Turbo" iterations looking from the outside in. But this is definitely fresh enough to jump in, I figure.
Though, for real, they better get my girls Yang & Nora (from JNPR) in there to help represent "Team RWBY" in this. And from Under Night, I'm crossing my fingers Yuzuriha & Gordeau make it in.
Well .. pretty nice .. when it comes to crossover fighters I'm always a bit "meh" because it's pretty cheap copy paste already known and overly used characters / character sprites .. but well c
Was hoping for something you know .. like "brand new" .. since blazblue is now "officially done" since Central Fiction .. but hey they also announced a new DLC Fighter for BBCF (Jubei !!! Finally !!! Can u believe it!!!) ..
anyways lookin forward since 2D fighters are rare .. it's gonna be PS4 and maybe switch but doubtfully on Xbox lol
Probably the as yet Untitled Blazblue title coming to Switch.
