Sony sure likes its dumb Japanese adverts doesn't it? We've seen some corkers over the years - the Destiny one is still our favourite - but this new addition for Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time is no slouch either. Featuring singer and actor Takayuki Yamada, he loads up the game only to be blown away by its graphics. He then takes a trip down memory lane and remembers the glory days of his childhood.
Never change, Japan.

That was ace and I don't even know Japanese. The game itself is looking absolutely gorgeous, it just has to have a western release.
I loved this! Can't wait for the game to come out in the states!
That was pretty good.
If they'd date this for the west this holiday that would be this, Ni No Kuni 2 and XC2. That would be an insane anime JRPG resurrection trifecta. Then we'd get a worldwide EMP induced blackout and Japan would sink into the sea.
Between the JRPG, MH and Pokemon, must be weird to live in Japan and not play video games.
