BioWare, the developer behind Mass Effect and Dragon Age, has had an entirely new property in the works for a while now - but we won't be playing it anytime soon. During EA's most recent investor call, CEO Andrew Wilson stated that the unannounced game has been pushed into the next financial year. In other words, it'll arrive at some point beyond March 2018.

We haven't actually seen the project in action yet, but we do kind of know what it's about. Wilson previously described the title as an action-adventure game rather than a role-playing game - BioWare's speciality. We also know that it'll be a "live service" title. Like Destiny, for example.

During the aforementioned investor call, Wilson had a little more to say about the project: "We’re very pleased with the progress of our new action IP from BioWare. The design is stunning. Gameplay mechanics are excellent, and the action will be exhilarating. The game is built around a live service, and through our creative process, we decided to add more to the disruptive new social design for our players. To accommodate that, we are moving the launch date for this project into fiscal year ’19." It sounds interesting at least, and it certainly marks a new direction for BioWare.

What are your thoughts on this new property? Are you looking forward to its reveal? Try to have faith in the comments section below.
