Sony is closing its iconic Tokyo building in the upmarket Ginza district and temporarily replacing it with a public park ahead of the 2020 Olympics, and boss Kaz Hirai was on-hand at the closing ceremony last week to dazzle attendees with a saxophone solo. Wait… What?!
Watch this:
Hirai's musical cameo didn't end there, as he later got on stage with the big band to have a bit of a boogie:
This is prime Kaz as far as we're concerned, up there with Ridge Racer and other vintage phrases. We're going to be disappointed if he doesn't deliver a musical interlude during Sony's E3 2017 press conference now.

Two note Kaz, smooth. The trumbone guy in video two is a little fruity.
I just couldn't stop laughing. Nice move, Kaz!
This isn't Prime Kaz. Needs more cocky laughing gifs.
@BLP_Software

Better?
@get2sammyb I needed that today actually. He has a very infectious smile and laugh.
I lost it when the band parades onto the stage. Amazing footage.

Because why not?
@Octane It sounds like it's something for the Olympics really. The article I linked to points out there aren't really many parks or public spaces in the city parts of Tokyo because it's so built up. Sounds like a kind of publicity stunt by Sony.
I've been a reader on push square since about November. Really love the community here and articles on here are always fun to read so I decided to officially join today (finally)
