It looks like the sun hasn't set on Life Is Strange, as Square Enix has invited fans to focus groups in London and New York next month. Scheduled to take place on 3rd May and 5th May respectively, the sessions will presumably be used to pitch fans on potential sequel ideas – or at least get some feedback on where followers see the story going next.
The research will be conducted by an external firm, and honestly it's impossible to glean anything from the invites unless you actually attend, where you'll probably be forced to sign a nasty NDA preventing you from sharing any of the details disclosed. Nevertheless, this suggests that we can probably expect more of DONTNOD's teen drama, which is no real surprise given the original was such a breakout hit.

Yep. I could go for a lot more Life Is Strange.
I love the storytelling in this game. It also has a sweet limited edition. They have to take away the stealth sections in a possible sequel.
Agree with belmont. The stealth section was the only blemish in an otherwise wonderful game. I remember how genuinely heartbroken I felt at the end, and I love it when a game can elicit that type of reaction out of me.
Hella yes. Love me some life is strange
I absolutely loved Life Is Strange, blemishes and all.
I'd kinda be interested in sequel but not sure that I would want to revisit the same characters. In fact, given the narrative choice structure, I'm not sure you could revist unless you did a Telltale and get peoples saves and base it off that. Which would really mean limiting new comers to the genre.
I would guess it would be the same concept, new story.
I really enjoyed life is strange, I think it was one of the first games I bothered to get the platinum trophy on. I watched thirteen reasons recently and although I know they're completely different (thirteen reasons is a lot darker). I'm not sure if it was the imagery with the tapes but it did proper give me life is strange vibes at first. I would like a sequel definitely but like people said maybe somebody different this time.
Cool, would have loved to go to this but sadly not close enough to London. Very interested to see where they go next with this. Loved almost everything everything about Life is Strange but felt the ending let it down a bit.
Life is strange blew me away with its amazing twist. I was so shocked and in awe, it was truly mesmeric.
Don't go to London or New York though, it was set in a small community and that's were it should stay.
I was very late to the party on Life is Strange, but I was super impressed. I'd definitely play another game in its universe, but like @Rudy_Manchego says, it should focus on new characters. I don't think they can do much more with Max's story (great as it was).
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi sound that. Me you and Scott could turn up and give some feedback. GOTY if they take it on board.
Yeah, the final episode was disappointing, but I absolutely adored the vibe up to that.
I'm all for a sequel as long as it's a new story with new characters.
Still say it's the best episodic game series on the ps4, and I'd like a sequel but I'd like if the changes the setting and give us a new lead character,
One of the best games ive ever played!!!! This is aawweessooommme!!!!!!!
One of the best soundtracks too. They better match the standard they set.
I liked this game but if they never said "hella" in the sequel it would immediately be an improvement!
