A colourful action role-playing game with crafting elements, Portal Knights promises to be a fun alternative to the likes of Minecraft on PlayStation 4. It's got all of the usual bells and whistles: co-op for up to four players, randomised worlds to explore, and dungeons full of loot, but it's the RPG side of things that interests us most. Player classes and a fully realised combat system should keep us entertained.
If you want to give Portal Knights a shot, then you should get downloading the playable demo that's now available on the PlayStation Store. The full game launches on the 28th April in Europe and the 2nd May in North America.

Interested in this, but don't have plus. No coop for me!
@TrueAssassin86x It was there yesterday, I downloaded it from my PC and played it last night. Searching on PC is much easier than the store. I posted a link in an article yesterday can't recall which one, sorry.
All I did in Minecraft was make castles so if this is more geared towards Combat RPG but Minecraft I'll definitely get it! Will try it out later when I get home if I get any time!
The RPG elements have me intrigued. Minecraft has no objective and Dragon Quest Builder's objectives were boring.
I'll try this demo and see what happens.
I'm hoping this is like a 3d Terraria. I really love that game. So much content in it.
Anyone know if the demo is online multiplayer?
Does anyone know the weight of this game please?
I thought the games release date had been delayed until 19th May?
I thought it got pushed back til late may?
@dryrain didn't see your comment but yeah it doesn't come out until then.
Zero interest in Minecraft but this looks fun. Will definitely check it out.
Just finished demo. Pretty fun, reminds me alot of DQB with more depth. Anyone know what the price on this will be when it released? If it's reasonable I'll probably pick this up.
I played the demo wasn't really anything to do I thought, the area was very tiny and hardly anything to build or kill... Could be fun though aslong as the islands aren't as tiny as that starting area... Guess I'll wait for reviews or look for more gameplay!
You can get it for £8 on PC does not require your PC to have good specs so thats also an option.
@ellsworth004 Varies but around £20-£25
I'm with some others you need to change the release date as it's been delayed till the 19th of may
didnt think much of it
Will there be a PushSquare Review for this? @ShogunRok
@PostmanPatinator Hopefully, yeah.
