Death Stranding PS4 PlayStation 4 1

We thought everyone hated Konami, so consider our surprise when we spotted £50 Bomberman smirking at us among the UK sales charts top ten today. Whatever. It seems that Hideo Kojima is still busy poaching staff from his ex-employer, as Horizon: Zero Dawn's credits list a number of names from the new Kojima Productions.

Included in the 'Special Thanks' section of the Guerrilla Games developed exclusive are a bunch of ex-Konami staffers who have been fulton lifted to the new Kojima Productions. The folks over at Metal Gear Informer have put together a full list of every name included, as well as the titles that they're known for.

  • Kenichiro Imaizumi (MGS4/PW/R/V producer)
  • Ayako Terashima (Kojima's PA)
  • Aiko Sakamoto (MGS:PW lead programmer)
  • Daizoburo Nakamura (MGSV lead programmer)
  • Yuta Hoshino (MGSV FX engineer)
  • Nozomu Takeuchi (MGSV art / programmer)

If you're wondering why Kojima Productions employees are listed in the credits of Horizon: Zero Dawn, then it's worth remembering that the Japanese start-up is collaborating with Guerrilla Games on the Decima Engine. So yeah, this all looks like pretty bloody positive news for Death Stranding, doesn't it?
