One of the PlayStation 4's first great games, Resogun remains highly recommended to this day. Housemarque's super pretty shooter still plays incredibly well, but the experience just got even better for PS4 Pro users.
The game's latest patch, which is available to download now, adds Pro compatibility in the form of 4K HDR support, a higher overall resolution, and improved graphical quality. As mentioned, Resogun was already a looker, so we imagine that this update may make it something really special.

@JoeBlogs Rocket League would surely take the title of best free Plus game for me but I do agree with the sentiment. A great PS plus title. Polished, fun and interesting.
Looking forward to trying this when I get home in 4k HDR.
Resogun for me is still Housemarque's finest.
@solocapers I don't like Rocket League at all, so Resogun is definitly the top for me (Though Contrast comes as a close second). Wish I had HDR.

Fantastic news! I don't have a PS4 right now, but I'll get a Pro soon. This will surely be one of the first games I'll fire up...even though I don't have a HDR TV...yet. 🙂
@Flopsy Yeah, I hope Alienation gets a patch as well...I'm sure it would look amazing in HDR, also, the framerate tanks badly sometimes on the vanilla PS4 when things get hectic.
Any chance Base PS4 will get HDR via this patch?
I'd like to see that become a trend so people can sample HDR on games they already own.
When Knack got updated, I was really hoping for HDR as well.
@GamerDad66 Yes the base unit has HDR support built in to the firmware now however you do need a HDR compatible 4k TV regardless of if you have a Standard or Pro PS4
A startling admission but I have never played but some people at work are both trying to up each others scores so might have to join in.

Definately looks cleaner in 4k.. check out the humans in the boxes! The HDR effect isn't as stark as I had wished but when you hit a "phase complete" or die the screen definately lights up in glorious fashion. This game will never grow old to me.
Great news, I may replay the game now - although Commando mode was pants with the dlc.
@themcnoisy Worth a look if you can find someone to team up with in co-op. But yes, playing solo, it's not great.

I don't own this game, but my sons do and I have watched them play it a lot, guess now this finally gives me a reason to buy it for myself
