We're going to level with you: writing about pre-order bonuses and collector's editions and all that kind of stuff usually isn't much fun. Thankfully, the PR folks over at Square Enix are clearly looking out for us, because they've gone ahead and decided to release one of the best pre-order trailers we've ever seen - and not just because it's only 38 seconds long.
Apparently, the publisher had a clear plan for this video, but mental game director Yoko Taro ignored all directions and basically decided to lose his mind in front of the camera. Then the footage was posted on YouTube anyway.
The bottom line is that you get a t-shirt when you pre-order NieR: Automata at retail, but the real bonus here is surely the trailer itself. Do yourself a favour and give it a watch.

I absolutely love Yoko Taro. I wonder if this bonus will apply to the States as well...
AGH. I'm going to end up preordering this, aren't I?
If I hadn't already pre-ordered... yup this would've done the trick.
Haha, fantastic. A bit disappointed in myself that I haven't pre-ordered Nier, but there's just too many games at the moment and something had to give. Will definitely pick it up at some point though.
Lol ok? Bring it on!

Worth buying the game just for the advert alone.
