NieR Automata's Just Another PS4 Exclusive You're Going to Have to Buy

I really enjoyed the demo for this although the demo for Gravity Rush two I found more enjoyable.But alas,I still don't have Gravity Rush 2 nor The Last Guardian or Resident Evil VII (all games I was super excited about)and I doubt I'll be getting this game either for a while...because I only have about two or three hours a day to play..how is it possible to keep up with these games?Someone tell me how?!

Gameplay looks great but the enemies and world looks so meh to me

Since the special edition is really expensive I think I'm gonna buy the digital version instead, this game demo is amazing

I must say I'm more excited about this game more than horizon and nioh. The demo was a nail in a coffin for me to purchase on day 1 I hope is as good as it looks on the trailer.

@Wonlee There's currently a petition for Koei Tecmo to bring Nioh to PC, but there is no official word on it happening, sadly.

I kept getting this game mixed up with Nioh. Like the look of both games but I'll only get them discounted as pile of shame is big enough already!

@RedMageLanakyn : @Wonlee was referring to nier as its on PC as well, dont mind the fact its on PC as the better it sells, the better the chance we get a remaster of the original, and that is only one of 2 games that i want a remaster off, the other is a mass effect trilogy

their's way too many games coming out i cant keep up, i have hardly had a chance to play RE7, then there's tales of Berseria, Dirt Rally VR, Nier, Mass Effect, r the ones on my must have list, coming in the next couple of months, plus also others like nioh horizon persona 5, which also look gr8, not enough time or money for them all

I'll get this eventually. Still need to play Gravity Rush 2 as well. And I've seen some Nioh gameplay that convinced me of another must buy. It's hard keeping up with all the games that are releasing this period, there are so many of them, and they're good games too.

It looks good but unfortunately there is just too much out right now.

@Wonlee An XBO is also planned so yeah, is more of a timed exclusive. Though I'm not surprised, especially with Scalebound cancelled (sad, really) so I'm not angry if it loses its ps4 exclusivity.

Really enjoyed the first game, despite it's lackluster graphics, but the demo of this turned me off. Those 2D sidescolling sections looked worse than some $15 indies, brown enemies on brown scaffolding on a brown background played in 2D.

Now compare that to GR2. Nier A. will be $5 in a flash sale on PSN by years end.

@SoulsBourne128 I don't know if desperate is the right word, I'd say jealous is more appropriate. Aside from the Souls games, there aren't many like Nioh available on PC. I game on pretty much all systems, but I tend to buy multi platform games on PC since I have the horsepower to push 4K and crank things up. Mods are a nice bonus too.

It's pretty pointless to petition Nioh though, as history has shown, any game that has Sony Interactive on it will stay a console exclusive. I was mistaken earlier, Nier is coming to PC, it's Nioh they're petitioning for.

"exclusive" They been using that word wrong for a while now.

Also I don't think that game looks much fun to play, least not a launch price.

I liked the demo, but the main reason I am buying this is to add to my P* collection. So I will wait like three months and get it on the cheap, the fate of most of their games, no matter how good.

And with Scalebound cancelled, no more conundrums about just getting a game for the collection without having the system to play it or having to buy yet another machine.

@wiiware yeah I definitely know I'm not the only one.Still,not like I'm complaining I just wish I had more time these days.Then again maybe if I spent less time online reading about games I might have more time to play them

Looks good. I'll probably want to get this game eventually, but I'm in no hurry since I'm fairly new to PS4 and have lots of games to catch up on.

Too many games already. March is already killing me with Horizon and Zelda/Nintendo Switch at the start and Mass Effect at the end. And NieR is just a week before March and I loved the demo. Depending how quick I finish up Nioh, I might grab NieR at launch or after finishing the 3 big March RPGs

Didn't really dig the bullet hell mash-up so that'll be a wait-and-see for me.

Nioh and Horizon are going to eat all of my Sony playtime. Then the Switch will happen and I'll be hibernating til June

As a fan of Square and Platinum and all kinds of RPGs and Hack and Slash Games in General this game just doesnt Appeal to me at all - like Nier back then. I just dont like the Art Style first of all and the Demo they released was completely garbage - I cant see why this should be another "PS4 must have", this game Looks like a 20bucks buy it on a Sale title to me.

Its been one hell of a start to this year for playstation cannot get this till later as I have my cash tied up in Mass Effect and Horizon and Yakuza 0

It was a nifty little demo but never really stood out to me as a must buy.

@smythelove Yeah I may as well be doing that because by the time I get round to starting them,some have been halved in price anyway lol
