Double Dragon IV will roundhouse kick the PlayStation 4 next week, and Arc System Works has released a trailer explaining all of the modes and mechanics you can find in the final game. The video reveals that in addition to an all-new globe-trotting campaign, you'll also find a Versus Mode and a Tower Mode. You'll be able to unlock new characters to use in the latter modes, each of which will have slightly different attacks and strengths.
Looks like a brand new NES game, doesn't it? We suppose that's fitting given that Double Dragon is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and most people played the original on Nintendo's grey station. Will you be picking this one up next week? Throw a punch in the comments section below.

People are judging this so negatively just because of Double Dragon Neo!
Yes, if the game is good I'll buy this day 1
@AlphaJaguar I honestly didn't think Neon was that good.
I thought Neon was ok. A bit goofy, but ok. I probably will end up get DDIV, still not too high about going back to 8-bit. But I did play a lot of DD back on NES, I just wanted a more arcade feel to it.
PS+.
I liked Neon but I still prefer the classic ones. This one is day 1 for me and my bro.
I'm already sold on this, one of the best things about coming home to a Mega Drive after school!
The world could always use a good beat 'em up.
As a very long time DD fan of the arcades and nes days i was disgusted when i fired up neon. The character designs were like a disrespectful joke. Its on par with the stupid 1 on 1 fighting game. This on the other hand looks like it was made BY fans FOR fans. Though id really prefer it to be based on the arcade versions this is the next best thing and i absolutely cannot wait!
Lol I only used elbow attack to complete this in arcade! If it comes out for vita I'll defo get it.
No Bimmy and Jimmy ?
It' s just not the same without Bim.
And Neon was just bloody awfull.
Day one for me! I've enjoyed the 3 on the NES, and still play them every now and then! Will enjoy being able to feel like I'm playing a brand new NES game! As long as it's not like the previous one on PS3, then I'm in.
Yeah, I really liked Neon. I know it was a bit silly but the game play was fun.
Don't you mean most people have played it on the arcade and before it was on consoles!
