ARK: Survival Evolved may not even be near completion, but that's not stopping spin-offs from being announced. One of these is ARK Park, a PlayStation VR powered experience that allows you to get up close and personal with dinosaurs in their natural habitat, from snow-covered mountains to tropical rainforests and more beyond.

"Visitors to ARK Park will be able to head out on Excursions into the lush biomes to explore and witness dinosaurs up close," executive producer Sky Wu explained. "At various points during the Excursions, visitors will be on-foot, riding dinosaurs, or riding vehicles. While on these Excursions, visitors will be able to participate in Gene collection of these fantastic creatures."

Fans of Pokémon Snap may be excited to learn that you'll also be able to photograph the critters for bonus points, and there'll also be factoids that you unlock as you progress. It sounds like a nice idea, but we can't help but shake the feeling that all resources should be being invested into getting ARK: Survival Evolved finished up. After all, people have spent good money on it.
