Dodge Roll, the developer of Enter the Gungeon, has announced that the game's much anticipated free update called Supply Drop will be launching in January 2017. This is a rather generous offering from the developer, including 100 plus new rooms to explore, 20 plus new guns and items, a new boss, a new NPC, a new challenge mode, and the ability to save and quit part way through a game. After 20 grueling hours i managed to beat this game, and i haven't picked it up since. It just was too frustrating with the amount of RNG and low ammo/health drops. I know it was designed to be difficult, but without a good reward system, or feeling like you've learned from your mistakes instead of just gettinf terrible RNG, it just makes it unappealing. Binding of Isaac really gets this formula right.
Can't wait! This is the game I played most this year. So addictive
