As you'd expect from a first-party release, The Last Guardian will be upgraded to take advantage of the PlayStation 4 Pro at launch. Fumito Ueda's stunning cat-bird story will see its resolution boosted to leverage 4K televisions (and supersampling on 1080p screens), while also adding HDR support and some performance improvements.
The full details of the patch remain as shrouded in secrecy as the long-awaited game itself, but the PS4 Pro functionality will be available out of the box at launch next month.

Guys, do we really need to know that game X is gonna look better on pro? Surely its a given?
@FaultyDroid Yes, it's news.
60 fps mode please
anyone else concerned that its been so long in development that it might not make the grade.
@FaultyDroid Exactly what I have been thinking.If these games don't look better on the pro...then why IS there a pro..?
You forgot the Amazon link Sammy, lol!
Good to know.
We need a constantly updated article with all PS4 Pro enhance games listed and what they do.
@JoeBlogs all the games after november. π
News is slow right now, guys. Until something happens, expect everything on this site to be "blahblahblah PS4 Pro, blahblahblah 4K, blahblahblah HDR" etc.
Cant wait to play it. π
@JoeBlogs Indeed i kinda hope they just make games more pretty and stable I really don't care about native 4K.
I'm in a buying games moratorium right now, but when Xmas is over if I haven't gotten a copy of TLG I will use some of my stashed up Gamestop giftcards I will definitely get to pick it up. Between this and FF15 I'm so excited for this holiday season.
