Following its launch this week, the PlayStation 4 Pro has added another game to its roster of upcoming titles that will take advantage of the super-charged console.
In an interview with GameRant, NieR: Automata's producer Yosuke Saito said that the title will launch with improved 4K graphics for PS4 Pro owners. "Yes, it will be optimized for the PS4 Pro. It will keep the 60 frames-per-second while we are trying to optimise it to have 4K quality graphics as well."
The game joins a long list of 2017 titles that will support the PS4 Pro, including Resident Evil 7, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Nioh. In truth, it should be virtually every game that supports the system from now on.

Nice. Which reminds me, from what I read, it also seems that the game might no longer be a PS4 exclusive since PG are already on porting the game to the Xbox One. Sad really, in my opinion, since I thought it could have been PG's first PS4 exclusive since the Wii U has Bayonetta 2 and XBO has Scalebound.
60fps on action heavy games is always nice.
@SoulsBourne128 This is being ported to the Xbone? It's strange, since I think the potential customers for the game are really on PS ...anyway the more the merrier.
@SoulsBourne128 They said it depends on how it Sells on PS4 and PC but no current plans for Xbone release yet. It certainly has a lot of competition from Persona 5, GTS, Horion Zero dawn, Nioh. Kingdom heart's. Sony are going to dominate early 2017 with so many games coming probably too many if the truth be told I can see Nier getting overshadowed.
More good news, great to hear.
Didn't they say all games will take advantage of the PS4 Pro as of next year? I mean, the system cost $400. Don't think too many people would have shelled out that kind of money to upgrade if it was just a handful of games here and there taking advantage of it.
@SnowstormX
"so many games coming"
Ah, don't you worry about that. Half of those games will be delayed if this year was anything to judge by, or last year, or the year before.
