A PlayStation 4 exclusive here in the West, Digimon World: Next Order has a brand new gameplay trailer and a confirmed release date - well, in North America, anyway. We've embedded the fresh English trailer above, which gives a general overview of what you can expect from the upcoming role-playing title.
Unlike Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - which launched earlier this year - Next Order isn't a traditional turn based RPG. Instead, there's a focus on raising and training your Digimon partners as you explore the digital world, barking orders at them from the sidelines of combat.
Next Order will release on the 31st January in North America, and we assume that the European date won't be too far behind.

Update: Bandai Namco has confirmed that Next Order will launch on the 27th January in Europe.

Nice! Can't wait to get another Digimon game. Plus have a little more play time with Persona out of the way.
@vegeta11 True, that Persona 5 delay may end up being a blessing in disguise.
Digifail
might be cool but i'm waiting for another sluether
Ugh, already have gravity rush 2, yakuza 0 and kh 2.8 for january, can they release it in march or later..
Can't wait!!
...for the first time, I'm happy (less sad) that Persona 5 is delayed.
It has the same digimon as cyber! So I'll pass this one!
Is the whole game dubbed?
I found Cyber Sleuth an exceedingly mediocre RPG, but from what I gather this plays more like the Digimon World game on the PS1. I don't think there in anything particularly worthwhile coming in January so I think I might as well get this.
Hopefully the english dub also means they put some actual effort in the localization this time.
Eh, I was really only interested in this for Vita, which isn't even getting an English Asian version to import.
We'll see.
Not alot of people(younger fans) like the original dogimon wotld game. But tons love cybersluth , so I kinda wonder if this will hurt anymore digimon cames from coming over seas especially if the ex0ect and rpg n get this. .... I personally liked this style of game tho.
Well crap just watched the english trailer and im hyped now.
