The simulator gag has gotten stale, but Job Simulator brings enough laughs to the novelty genre to land a new punchline. This bonkers work-'em-up is set in the future, where robots simulate the menial tasks of today with a disregard for details. This means that, while you'll be carrying out tedious tasks such as making soup and fixing cars, the game doesn't really give a hoot how you reach your destination.
What you have, then, is a rare title that's legitimately laugh out loud funny. The scenarios that you have to contend with across the title's four careers – office worker, gourmet chef, convenience store clerk, and grease monkey – employ dry humour and biting wit to comment on the real-world, but it's never so heavy-handed that it breaks the joy of the goofy, cartoon-like gameplay. We'll have a full review soon, but do check out the footage embedded above.

Biting wit always gets a hold of me. Colour me intrigued
Looks like fun. @get2sammyb what's the price of entry, do you know?
I work six days a week. The last thing I want to do with my free time is play a game about working...
@Splat So, you are duel wieling staplers at your colleges, throwing donuts at your computer, making fresh juices out of frozen steaks, serving burned sandwiches and repair flat black tyres with pink ones all day long? Interesting workplace you are in.
