The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited's highly anticipated One Tamriel update is now available to download on PlayStation 4. There are no official patch notes for the console version of the update just yet, but we already know all about the aforementioned One Tamriel feature.
Essentially, once you've nabbed the patch and the game's servers are brought up to speed, you'll be able to journey anywhere in Tamriel with anyone, regardless of their faction. What's more, all enemy and loot levels now scale with you, so you're free to jog from one side of the map to the other and back again if you wish. In essence, this should give the MMO a much greater sense of freedom - something that The Elder Scrolls series has always prided itself on.
There's one catch, however, in that the update weighs in at a very mighty 18GB. Best get that downloading, eh?

Surely all the updates combined are bigger the base game.
The current game without the latest patch is around 70gb. The new 18gb patch does not mean the game will be 88gb. Base game was near 50gb from what I remember. This is the biggest change to the game since it came out and its a game changer. Along with the double xp event the game has got a buzz about it at the moment.
Its the only game where I actively want to play it everyday.
Part of me wants to give this a try now...but that part is mostly outgunned by the side that says, "Just get and play Skyrim again". I'll probably do that and wait for the next real elders scrolls.
@dryrain I want ESO to be that (I really, honestly do), I am trying to like the game, but damn its bland. I keep forcing myself to play it in hopes that it will get better, that maybe I just haven't gotten to the good stuff yet. I don't know how much longer I am willing to endure it though.
4K update for the Pro?
@thedevilsjester One of the key things for me which made the game a lot more enjoyable was finding a good guild with other active players. If you want an invite to the guild I am in then add me on psn and can send you the invite. psn id noodledreamz
@dryrain The problem with that (and its the same problem even when I play my favorite MMO's) is that sometimes I will play for 4+ hours every day, and sometimes I will not play for a couple months, and then go back to 4+ hours a day. I end up getting kicked from every guild I have ever joined (and I have been playing MMO's since, well, when they were just MUDs) because of random bouts of inactivity. I gave up joining guilds, any group of people that expect me to do something (ex: play consistently) where I get some kind of punishment (ex: being kicked) if I do not do that something, ruins the game for me. I may play more in one month than many do in six, and then not even realize I haven't played in over a month (because I got side tracked on some other game, or books, or TV show, or family, or whatever). I appreciate the offer though. If you have any advice (other than a guild) to enjoy the game more, I am open to suggestions.
This is a problem, a few games have done this already. PS4 Pro support should be optional free DLC, not included in updates, as it takes up a ton of room on a standard PS4, with files that will not be used.
