Hallowe'en's only a few weeks away, so it's time for all of your favourite online games to start churning out their respective seasonal events. The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited's spooky offering kicks off today, the 13th October, and promises quests, strange happenings, and, of course, exclusive loot.

Dubbed the Witches Festival, all that you have to do in order to take part is nab a Crow Caller from the in-game Crown Store. The item's free, and when used, you'll begin a quest which grants you another item named the Witchmother's Whistle. With this, you'll be able to summon The Witchmother's Cauldron, which will transform you and any fellow party members into undead creatures. Kill bosses while in this form, and they may just drop Plunder Skulls, which essentially just sound like loot boxes that include event-specific stuff. Cosmetic masks, recipes, crafting motifs, and more are up for grabs.

The Witches Festival will last until the 1st November, but will you be taking part? Put on your creepiest costume in the comments section below.
