Despite its cute and colourful appearance, it's safe to say that Dragon Quest Builders offers a lot of depth through its crafting system, which allows you to build... Well, just about anything within reason. With the game launching next month, Square Enix has knocked together a '101' trailer, which covers fundamentals such as crafting, quests, and combat.
This is one spin-off that's always looked particularly promising, so if you're unsure what Builders is all about, we'd recommend giving the video a watch. After all, knowledge is power - especially when you're learning how to protect the world from evil Dragonlords.

Looks great ill give it a go since the last guardian is a no go in October
Makes me want to play Minecraft.
I'm torn on this one. Looks great and has a story which I always appreciate it, but no couch multiplayer means it's a solo affair, which I don't normally mind in JRPG as long as I have a strong supporting cast in my party, but this guy is going it solo.
Think I'll stick to DQ Heroes. Maybe my Minecraft addicted kid will play this one.
It seems a strange omission not to include multi-player when this type of game would really benefit from this social aspect.
I may actually play this now, but I'll be waiting a few years for the price to drop.
I gave the demo a go at Insomnia 58 back at the end of August. I loved it and so did the kids, the crafting mechanic worked well. Hopefully it will get favourable reviews.
@GraveLordXD
Digital only.
However, what I'm doing is importing the Asia physical version which has English. Can't take any more of these 3.5gb digital Vita games on a 64gb memcard that was maxed out 2 years ago.
This is one of the October games that I'm interested in. Would be great if they release a English demo soon.
@JaxonH It might come to be a surprise for most, but the Vita version is less than 300MB. I am already playing the chinese version, and I must say, this game is very addictive for people who likes crafting/base building games. Sadly, Vita's screen is a little too small that I didnt get the mood to beautify and complete the base as per the trailer, but one could easily spend more than 100 hours in this game just taking your time and making a stunning base.
Finally tried Mine Craft last year and was incredibly off put by how ugly it was and lack of anything to do that seemed to make any difference. This seems more like what I was hoping for. Yay!
I want this game but it's only a week before BF1 so I might wait for the Christmas holidays before I buy this game. Looks more fun than that terrible 4 bit Minecraft.
