Call of Duty's Backing PS4 Pro in a Big Way

As predicted, Call of Duty will be one of the biggest brands supporting the PlayStation 4 Pro at launch – but Activision's really going above and beyond. As announced at last week's PlayStation Meeting 2016 press conference, both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be compatible with the new console on day one.

But that's not all: Call of Duty: Black Ops III will also be patched to support the system at launch as well. It's no real surprise given Sony's long-term marketing partnership with the first-person franchise, but it could end up being a big coup when Call of Duty PS4 Pro bundles inevitably flood the market come Black Friday.

I am NOT surprised by the announcement that CoD:IW and CoD4:MWr are receiving a PS4 Pro mode. I thought all games (at least all AAA games) had to have some 'Pro' enhancement released after Sept 1st. It makes a lot of sense that CoD will be getting this - especially as it releases just 6 days before the Pro launches.
It does surprise me a bit that BO3 is getting a Pro patch. CoD is generally a 'yearly' game and I expect a lot of the CoD community will move to the new game. I guess a lot will get IW at Christmas so BO3 will still be there current game.
Zombies (in particular), would look amazing in HDR though!!

This is probably the biggest reason why I'll end up buying a Slim instead of a Pro. While technically Slim may be $299 and Pro $399 and therefore any games bundled w/ them are "free", if I'm paying for something then it isn't free, and I'm not paying $436 for a game I don't want when I could be paying for $327 for a game I really want.

I don't blame them for doing it this way, but they have to do what's right for them, I have to do what's right for me.

Well,,, all i know is the franchise won't be gettin any more of my cash. So i WON'T be experiencing the futuristic rip off of sooooooo many other games in 4k or even normal for that matter. Should listen to ya fans. Battlefield one,,,, well that is just another matter. Neva been into the battlefield franchise. Mainly because cod was amazing then But BF1 looks and plays beautifully. I was gonna buy this cod just for mod war but now i have played BF1 im not gonna bother. Devs of cod who never listen to fans of their game, farewell. HELLO BF

I'm leaving cod this year, was a bit warned out with Blops 3, may get the bundle of IW and MW in the sales.

Man this game will sell so many ps4 pro, although I don't plan to buy cod this year, too many game on my to buy list.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Highly doubt they will release MW RM sperate. They will get alot of hate especially after they said it won't ever be a seperate release. Just buy IW download MWRM trade in IW.

@Tasuki that's kind of insane, I'll take a pass then, destiny and maybe battlefield for me, definitely going to pick up Verdun and already ordered Battalion 1944.
