Whoops, we forgot about the UK sales charts! That's probably an indication of just how uninteresting they've been for some time now, but we should probably cover them anyway. F1 2016 has raced into an early lead, overtaking No Man's Sky to take pole position this week. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens squeezed a place on the podium.
Elsewhere, familiar favourites like Overwatch, Grand Theft Auto V, and Rocket League all secured places in the Top Ten, as did Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. There's not much else to say this time, though Bloodborne is hanging around towards the very bottom of the list. We have a sneaking suspicion that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will hack the summit next time.
UK Sales Charts: Week ending 20th August, 2016
- F1 2016
- No Man's Sky
- LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens
- Overwatch
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Rocket League
- FIFA 16
- Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
- DOOM
- Minecraft: Xbox Edition

I don“t see NMS overtaking the top spot again due to its bad word of mouth.
@Kidfried With the likes of FIFA fast approaching, it probably wouldn't have a shot even if it did keep selling well.
I'm impressed it's still up there to be honest after the mixed reception!
@Quintumply People either like no man sky or don't, I don't think there's in between. Like minecraft maybe, some people can't stand it, but many many people really like it.
Soon it will be No Mans Buy
I do like the look of that F1 game now with all the nerdy stuff like manual starts, safety cars and even the formation lap but with a child on the way I'm looking at maybe 1 or 2 games tops for the rest of the year so need to choose wisely
NMS is an aquired taste just like Marmite, If you love fast and frantic, shoot everything in the face game play this is not for you but if you like to quietly explore and get game credit for it then it's a good game. I'm personally loving it but I can see why it could bore some gamers.
NMS will keep doing moderately well till the silly season begins and the big sellers come out, expect sales to pick up when the game hit the sales.
Everyone, stop buying Minecraft and gta v. We will never get a Minecraft 2 or GTA 6.
On the other hand Overwatch, Rocket League and Doom have all done brilliantly.
