Deus Ex: Mankind Divided tapped its way straight to the top of the UK sales charts, but its predecessor Human Revolution enjoyed a "much stronger" first week. That's according to Chart-Track, who compiles the British best sellers list. As expected, the game performed best on the PlayStation 4, which is a very common occurrence for multiformat releases this generation.
F1 2016, last week's front-runner, managed to remain on the podium, finishing in second position, while No Man's Sky earned bronze in third. Overwatch and Madden NFL 17 took fourth and fifth place respectively, with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End finishing just outside. Newcomers Assetto Corsa and Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom both scored top ten finishes, making for a much-changed lineup.
This, of course, represents the very beginning of the busy holiday season proper, with the charts likely to get much livelier over the coming weeks and months. What have you got pre-ordered? Place a deposit in the comments section below.

Worms in 39th? Oh dear... Flop?
Nothing pre-ordered. Nothing coming out for anything that interests me and I need a new not potato to do work on now I have a job.
Good to see the charts change though. Yet its still more Sony dominance and the such, which gets dull I admit. New release = PS4 version at the top then it may settle into GTAV and FIFA for a while until the next.
@SPGFan34 Not really. Most people will have bought that from the PS Store, I imagine.
I never got Human Revolution as I didn't have much disposable income at the time. Was interested at Mankind Divided but they put me off with their comments about ND and Uncharted. Too full of themselves.
I'm surprised that NMS is still at #3 given all the negative reception and being it's only available on PS4 retail.
@get2sammyb yeah I'm waiting for the PSN sales for that.
Mankind Divided certainly deserves to sell well great title, and it's nice to see the chart having a bit of a shake up.
@DiscoGentleman Uncharted 4's week 1 sales were 66% higher than Uncharted 3's despite having a smaller install base.
Ratchet & Clank reboot also set a franchise best.
I feel like gamers are buying games more than ever it's just there are so many more games out there.
@Fight_Teza_Fight That's because most people don't pay any attention to most of the rubbish on the Internet. They just see this "really cool looking space game and you can fly to any planet without loading screens? Sign me up" That's the main reason why it got so hyped from the very beginning.
Mankind Divided is a fantastic game. Anybody who enjoyed Human Revolution will most certainly like this too. So go and buy it!
I'm liking Mankind Divided even more than Human Revolution and that was my favorite RPG of last-gen. I think if we weren't in a post-Witcher 3 time, the game would be getting better reviews (not that they've been bad just not pulling in 9s and 10s) and even better sales. Nice to see it get off to a decent start that, unless something goes dramatically off course in Mankind Divided, I have a feeling at the end I'll be asking for more.
