Until we have the game in our sweaty hands, it's impossible to say whether Final Fantasy XV will live up to a decade's worth of hype, but that's not going to stop us from thoroughly enjoying the game's latest trailer. The video showcases the title's amazing looking open world, complete with scenic shots of wildlife and various environments. In short, this is a world that we simply can't wait to explore. Florence + the Machine's backing track isn't a bad fit, either.

Is it me or does the environment not look a 100% up to par? I guess for a vast open world, it kinda can't be, especially on PS4.

Its looks amazing even thought YouTube, thay we're right when thay said this generation will be all about the details. The detail in the likes of The Witcher 3 is just staggering, and the same can be said for this.
@LordRedwood24 Thought the same thing myself. Dunno, maybe it was the lighting, the textures, the contrast ... sometimes the graphics looked down horrible. Burned and washed out colours. Horrible. Some camera angles didn't help either.
I dunno I thought it looked fine , but reading the comments , kinda concerns me that I overlooked the bad graphics. I just hope game dosent bomb . Im kinda on the fence right now.It suvks to be a long time fan of this franchise.
I think this game will be a real looker in general, having played both demos. The outdoor areas seemed really muddy and flat at times, but otherwise I was impressed with the presentation.
I just pre-ordered it finally on the Square Enix website to be in that "Carbuncle Surprise" thing...I kinda wish I'd done it sooner! You get stuff every Friday, I think. Like, I just got a perverted Cidney DLC skin for the Regalia car Can't wait for next week!
Well I guess I won't ask if it's real time or not since nobody else seemed impressed. Looks like the game engine, just didn't know if it was scripted, anything can look good scripted in the game engine these days rather than riding a chocobo through there. 1 more month.

Seriously, people are actually complaining about the graphics?
Why. Do people feel important when they see a trailer for a beautiful game and they're the ones to say, "oh my goodness it looks so horrible, I noticed these textures were bad and this and that"
I'm glad at least some people can appreciate beauty without trying to rip it apart over every pixel.
It looks great. This is the world I want to explore and that's why I want to play this. However, what I anticipate is battle system that's suppose to donate most of my play time. There aren't so many people who satisfied the battle system in platinum demo, are there?
