Video: Is 7 Days to Die on PS4 Crafty or Crappy?

You guys slammed this game so hard suprised its even got another mention on the website Its averaging 4 stars on psn eu, NA psn 4 stars. There is definatly a huge disparity between reviewers and gamers on this game. If I had read reviews of this game I would not have bought it but glad I already had it on pre-order as its the most fun I have had on a PS4 game in a long time. Its a game where you forgive its short comings because its so much fun to play, more addictive than crack.

Could be a contender for game of the year.

Obviously PS4 owners are digging in it, evident in PSN store. Minor bugs and performance issues aside, my brother and I are having a blast on day 31.

@dryrain I have to say from my time playing 7 Days to Die it's clear it has a lot of potential. That said, my biggest problem is that it's essentially an early access game being sold as a final product, and I find that concerning, especially since it's being clearly labelled as such on Steam.

I only hope the game gets ample support post release so the developer can make good on the promise, especially considering what they're charging for this right now.

Love it, my most played game right now and probably for a long time. I'm not fussed about it being early access as long as they update it with patches. Some of the best game's on PC are early access ,Escape From Tarvok (might of spelt that wrong) look's amazing and there is talk of it eventually coming to PS4. This is a trend I would like to see followed if it's done right but they would need to be honest at least, this is an early access game (hopefully!) and they should of said so. I just hope they are planning on updating it and it's not just a quick money maker.

I put several hours into this game, and I'm ridiculously disappointed. The frame rate leaves a lot to be desired, the resources and crafting feel a little bit uninspired (though there's clearly a lot of potential there), and the visuals look like an upscaled Wii game.

Now obviously this is just my opinion, and I know that it's an unpopular one among PS4 gamers, but I, personally, am disappointed with the game. I'm glad that so many people are having so much fun with it, though; more power to you!

Saw a stream of a guy and it seems to have huge FPS issues, but a patch fixing that may have come since then,

This isn't a perfect game, this isn't an amazing game, but this game is super fun especially with a buddy! It's got great feel to it and I have thoroughly enjoyed every hour I sunk into this rough gem. Like I said, in no way is it perfect but it's a blast nonetheless!

Agreed the game is still evolving on the PC so it should have been finished first and then ported to the consoles. Telltale can only work with what they are given and if you start with an unfinished project its not going to get better once you port it. Who's fault it is I do not know did telltale push to get this on console or did Fun Pimps offer it out to them not sure how it all works. I was reading somewhere that Fun Pimps brought it to consoles because they wanted to invest the money into developing the game on PC because they saw that as its primary market. If that the case its a sucky move by them. Anyway not sure how much truth there is to that as it was on Reddit afterall.

Life of a 7 dayer. Airdrop landed in the water thought I could dive down to get it. Ran out of air and drowned. Ran into the water to cool down after a hot day. Turns out the water was actually a cave sides to steep so could not get out and drowned. Planting crops and walking backwards fell into a deep cave and drowned again. This does not inclued the zombie deaths, bleeding out or dieing of radiation. The life of a 7 dayer is a tough one and i am only on day 28

Although I own several dozen PS4 games, I find that 7 Days to Die is by far one of the most fun games on the entire system! Some reviewing websites get paid to write "positive" reviews for their sponsors. Some reviewers see games in same fickle way a drunk man in a bar may see a woman walk in wearing a mini skirt and suddenly think he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

Beware website reviews that rate a game very low even though the average rating from people who are actually playing it is very high.

Choose for yourself. Once the next patch comes out that fixes most of the complaints, many of those website reviewers will still bash the game, and the people playing it will still be rating it high and having a LOT of fun playing it with friends.

Yeah , I usually have alot of faith in this sights reviews, but I honestly couldnt beleive how terrible your review made it sound. Having played the game , I was shocked at the score. I really hate to say that it was a bad review but , well like you said the game has taken off on ps4, I should know I live streamed it for my friends who all immediately were sold on it.

Yeah I made my views clear in the comments section of the 7 Days to Die reviews. None of the points I raised were addressed. Its is a lot of fun to play I am putting a lot of hours into this game.

I just put out a video of me doing a horde day 21 my days are long take 2 hours for one day to go by long nights as well but it make it fun and more time to build are loot been play sent the game came out love the game even more then fallout 4 and I just got my ps4 about 2 mouths ago and first game fallout but I been reading about this game form about two years ago my compter could not run so it made me happy to see it come on ps4 and if think about it just like minecraft when it first started no one thought it would get so big now look at it maybe this game will be the same ether way tho it's fun as hell and will never stop playing it
