Brit actor Kit Harington, best known for his portrayal as Jon Snow in the award-winning Game of Thrones, will assume the role of the villain in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – marking a departure for the type of characters that the London-based performer usually plays. Well, no one wants to get typecast, do they?
"Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front," narrative director Taylor Kurosaki said. The English influence won't end there, however, as Activision has confirmed that Snatch director Guy Ritchie is also involved with the project in some form.
The title's on the cover of this month's Game Informer magazine, ahead of an expected blowout during Sony's E3 press conference next week. Are you excited about the latest entry in the Call of Duty franchise, or has this series run out of firepower for you? Respawn in the comments section below.

pre-ordered the Legacy Pro edition so I guess that says whether I am looking forward to it or not! Looking forward to more details about the campaign - yes I play it - and IW's have generally been good. The early talk sounds interesting - Hope the ex-ND developers raise the campaign to new levels...
Call of duty is coming.....
You know nothing Jon Snow...
This still isn't enough to get me to buy CoD.
What's that?they are bringing back Kiefer Sutherland for World At War 2? no?oh..sorry not interested.
Kit Harington as Jon Snow is awesome though
You know nothing Infinity Ward.
Love GOT and he's a fantastic actor but I really don't see the point in paying these people top dollar to do voice over's in game's, just get any old joe to do the voice over and save shed load's of money, there must be hundred's of thousand's of budding actor's that would jump at the chance for a fraction of the fee. Maybe then they could pass the saving's onto us consumer's.......highly doubt that though.
