DOOM's day
Shareware was a big deal when DOOM first started out, so Bethesda's trying to bring back some of that love – by basically releasing a demo for the FPS on the PlayStation Store. The trial – which features the first level from the critically acclaimed campaign – is available on the PlayStation 4 right now, so give it a go if you want to see what all of the fuss is about.

After the MP Beta put a lot of people off of Doom, play the first level and change your mind!
It doesn't feel like Doom to me. It just feels like lots of graphic gore to make it seem like a good game. It does make me want to play Doom 2 again though. All this gore in games kind of distracts me from what matters, the gameplay.
And download it you should, because its utterly sublime.
Wow a demo, I remember those!
Went to check on this last night. Couldn't believe the game was 43.8GB, that's huge. Then I really couldn't believe the season pass was $40. That's ridiculous, $100 to play Doom? The gaming world has gone insane.
The first level is good but later it gets very manic and nearly set my ps4 on fire.
