One of the announcements in the mercifully brief PlayStation VR section of Sony's E3 press conference today was for Batman: Arkham VR. Let's be clear, this isn't just any Batman VR game, it's one developed by the best Batman devs in town: Rocksteady Studios.
The title's reveal trailer teaches us very little about the game, except that it will definitely star the Joker, and will definitely indulge the London-cased studio's penchant for darkness and grit. Do you like the looks of this new title? Will you be picking it up when it launches on 13th October this year? Swoop into the comments section below.

If any reason to get the PlayStation VR, this game would be the reason. There has yet to be any gameplay, but I don't expect jaw dropping game mechanics from VR as of yet. RockSteady is one of the developers, so I expect to enjoy this one.
Sony is making a strong opening case for its new VR platform.
I think I'll be cautious but this is defo the type of launch titles that the PS VR needs - let's just hope it makes a convincing case for why it should be in VR.
Trailer?
Hopefully it'll have good gameplay. Don't want it to suffer the same faith with Dragonball kinect.
So we see no gameplay but people are hyping this up as if it's a sequel to Arkham Knight??
Did anybody learn anything from the Kinect?
@sub12 "Did anybody learn anything from the Kinect?"
Yes. It was sh*t.
Full of gimmicky and tacked on gameplay experiences that were branded as the next step forward in gaming.
Hmm.....kinda sounds like VR to me.
This surprised me. I like that they are pulling in strong hitters for vr. Might give it a chance.
This tells you literally nothing.
Rocksteady are questionable at best after the appalling Arkham Knight game.
VR has a lot to prove before it can be shown as a viable interface for games in this genre
Like some gameplay though.
Batman is pretty cool! It's a step in the right direction with big household franchises coming to PSVR: ) just need a cracking VR version for COD, battlefield, GTA or FIFA (where you can move your head to view the whole playing field whilst playing the game!) And PSVR will be here to stay as mainstream media. One can hope!
My wife didn't understand why I was so excited to preorder the PSVR. On launch day I'll have games like this to experience and have her experience as well. She'll understand very quickly. Hahaha
