Sekai Project, a publisher of visual novels and Japanese indie games, has teamed up with Mighty Rabbit Studios to port its catalogue of titles to the PlayStation 4 and Vita in physical and digital form. No explicit releases have been revealed yet, but apparently "extensive" work is being carried out by the North Carolina-based outfit to get the games up to scratch on Sony's systems.
Limited Run Games, the company ensuring that smaller games get physical releases across both PlayStation platforms, will do the leg-work on the boxed copies. There's very little specific information to share yet, but it's pretty cool that all three of these companies have found a way to collaborate over what are guaranteed to be the nichest of niche titles.

If you guys need a visual novel then I suggest Kindred Spirits on the Roof, the game completely immersed me because they work on a goal goal I strive for to make reality!
Hmm. If we could get stuff like CLANNAD, Root Double, The Devil on G-String, and other higher quality VNs like those, then this is very exciting news, especially if they're releasing them on Vita.
Hopefully the prices will be cheap enough and not in the niche £30 bracket.
Visual novel games on my ps vita are the best. Steins:gate is still in my top 5 games off all time.
I wish they localized the Playstation ports of Umineko, I'll play (or rather read) them again for an easy platinum
Good, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of this.
Will they be coming to the west, though?
@SoulsBourne128 yep. A company in North Carolina wouldn't be porting them in Japanese.
I like visual novels (I've played fate/stay night, ace attorney, tsukihime, ect) so I will keep an eye on this
