Dishonored 2 is going to be out in time for the holidays, meaning that you can spend those cold wintry nights brutally murdering guardsmen and nobility. Bethesda's announced that the stealthy sequel will be on show at E3 next month, promising a world gameplay première during the publisher's press conference.
Unlike the first game, you'll be able to choose between two playable characters this time around, with royal bodyguard turned supernatural assassin Corvo making a comeback as he's joined by Empress Emily Kaldwin. Quite the duo, we must admit.

Dishonored 2 & Deus Ex:Mankind Divided will be providing that stealthy gaming fix for me this year!
with the first game being released on PS4 i'm hoping that you can carry your save over so all those people you either assassinated or spared can affect the game
Dishonored was one of those games last gen that I felt everyone loved expect me... I didn't hate it by any means but it just didn't really click for me. I did love the look of the game though.
@Splat Didn't click with me either, but I put that largely down to not really liking stealth games. You're not alone, anyway.
I enjoyed the first game but I've no interest whatsoever to return to that world. I'll pass and wait for it to end up on PS plus in about 20 years.
Brilliant news loved the first one just finished it again on ps4 so hopefully gonna do a no kill playthrough in time for November!

@ShogunRok @Splat I think the big thing for me is that it felt really difficult to be stealthy. There was just something off-putting about it - it's like the exact opposite of MGSV in that regard.
@Splat I found it was a real chore to be good the choices where way to black and white.And the stealth did feel unfair maybe it is just me.
I liked Dishonored, and will playing 2 for sure. There is a lot of other stuff out, or coming between now and then though, so it might have to wait.

I recently bought Dishonoured for PS4 (as it was cheep, like the budgie) but had never played last gen. I will reserve my comments until I have played through.
I liked Dishonored. I played it through it twice, one a pure stealth playthrough, the other a murder fest. It's a better game played stealthily in my opinion.
I played a bit of the first one and I thought it was okay, may get the sequel when it's cheap.
We can choose who we play as? Thank god! Emily looks awesome. I hope we can play the entire game as her, and not have some lame "Assassin's Creed" player swapping through out the game.
