Mafia III's on a mission to bring down the mob later this year on PlayStation 4, and to celebrate this no doubt brutal and bloody fact, the open world title's got a brand new gameplay trailer. Much like the previous CG reveal, the embedded clip combines fitting music, plenty of atmosphere, and some good old fashioned gangster justice. In short, it's pretty great.
There are undoubtedly vibes of Grand Theft Auto echoing through this video, with Hollywood-esque cuts and snippets of intriguing dialogue being thrown around. Now we're just hoping that the finished game lives up to the hype when it launches on 7th October.

Never got round to trying the first two games but really like the look of this one.looks pretty decent.Mind you I have such a big backlog and other games I'm interested in its getting ridiculous.
Will most likely get round to playing it when it's on ps plus for the PS5
Brilliant trailer and it has piqued my interest in the game, here's hoping it turns out to good and not another open world 101 title.
But one thing I know about the game, it'll have a stellar soundtrack, I love 60's music.
Day one...
@PlaytendoGuy Yeah, the soundtrack is sounding really good. Hopefully there's a decent mix in the finished game that we can listen to.
Whilst the world looks quite interesting...the game just isn't appealing to me. Not a big fan of the characters maybe, we'll see.
Now that's how you make a trailer.
The only thing missing in this Martin Scorese like videogame was "Gimme Shelter", which wasn't released until 1969, but I'm guessing they let that little fact slide and it shows up in the next trailer.
I hope its more open world than the last game
That dude is so hot X_X
Looking forward to it, not played the first two, not sure it matters.
A most anticipated game for me. I hope the reported improvements since Mafia 2 are as reported. The world of Mafia 2 needed more life, better police AI, and better save system.
I was hoping for Vegas 1960, Brat Pack music and cars with big tail fins. However Norleans in 1968 should be interesting. Muscles cars and maybe some CCR to cruise with.
Preordered! I have never played the Mafia series. I would like to see the first Mafia game available on PS4.
I still need to get around to playing the first two games, but I do look forward to playing Mafia 3 in the future.
That trailer alone has hyped up my interests.
After number 2 I think i'll wait to see reviews before buying another possible pup.
The first was good and I loved II. so overall I'm excited to play III. Gonna be awesome having Vito from II as an ally now!
