We think that PlayStation 4 exclusive Alienation is out of this world, but one drawback is the lack of local multiplayer at launch. Stephen Tailby mentioned in our review that Housemarque tends to provide stellar post-release support for its games, however, and it hasn't taken long for the Finnish firm to confirm that it'll be adding couch co-op to its alien blaster soon.
The studio announced the news by donning bad Hallowe'en masks and holding up DualShock 4 controllers, by the way. We'd expect nothing less!

It is a drag that it isn't releasing with coop but awesome that they are adding it in, and relatively quickly from what it seems. Housemarque is an impressive group, and they almost always deliver.
I wonder if this will be fun to play by yourself.
I can say not having local co-op on release is causing me to forgo a pre-order & instead wait for an eventual sale or to be added to the Plus library.
@Scorpio73 It is.
Good that they finally acknowledge the lack of Co-Op... Will pick it up once Co-Op is added. Thank!
Good news. I'll purchase it once the the local Co-Op is added, I love their games. Funny video though.
