Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness' earlier livestream yielded some decent bits and pieces, including confirmation that the localised version of the release will feature dual audio. In other words, you'll be able to choose between English and Japanese voice work.
What's more, several new English gameplay trailers have been released. The first details the title's story, while the second and third focus on individual characters. Protagonist and swordsman Fidel is the, er, star of one, while healing specialist Miki is the main attraction of the other. All in all, the game's still looking promising, and we're hoping that it can deliver an interesting plot and an engaging cast to go along with what should be another solid battle system.

Oh thank the lord.
I don't know, maybe it's just the flat English voice acting, but that seems rather generic anime, even by JRPG standards. Nobody stood out to me except fire arm guy, but even he wasn't all that impressive.
I do think that "summer 2016" date guarantees FFXV will be much later in the year than September 30 that was rumoured.
@rjejr good point! But maybe this will be out in June-early July and FFXV in September-October...
100% playing on Jap Audio!
The hero is 23 and not 17? Good. rofl
The last trailer I saw, it had like five characters in it but now I see seven during battle. Now, that's a lot of characters for an RPG considering I've never played one which had more than four playable out in the battlefield.
This reminds me of Xenoblade Chronicles X, anyone else getting the same sort of vibe off of it?
@Riririn I was thinking the same thing, including the rofl!
@Boerewors I get a strong Xenosaga vibe from it, for obvious reasons I think.
@Boerewors Yeah, the art direction for the characters models reminds me of Xenoblade Chronicles X too. That being said, I kinda prefer this one better but only because I didn't like how characters eyes looked in the Xenoblade Chronicles X.
