Are we all ready for some more Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness, then? We've known for a while that the game's coming West later this year, but we're yet to see any English media. Fortunately, that's going to change tomorrow, as the title's brand new Twitter account has revealed that the first English trailer is incoming.
Now we don't know about you, but we're seriously hoping that the English voice overs don't make our ears bleed. The last game in the series, Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope, gained an infamous reputation due to its deplorable dub, so we'd like to think that the same mistake won't happen twice in a row.

Never played any of these games and I have no idea what they're about or how they play.
Agreed Last Hope's dub was truly terrible. I generally like to play with english dubs, but by the time Lymle shows up anyone halfway sane will switch to the japanese VAs. Sadly that didn't improve the characters themselves, aforementioned Lymle still is one of my most hated video game characters of all time and the rest of the cast is pretty terrible as well.
I'm rambling now I realize, I liked parts of Last Hope, particularly the battles and the enviroments but there was a lot of stuff that annoyed me. I hope that SO5 is closer to the quality of the excellent Star Ocean Second Story.
Just gonna say... Mathew Mercer and Laura Bailey are some of the best in the biz these days. So hearing them as Edge and Reimi is fine with me.
I'll just pray for dual audio.
I must be one of the rare few that actually enjoyed most of the Star Ocean: Last Hope English voices then...
I remember I liked the game, and I usually listen in Japanese where possible, but I can't remember for Last Hope.

Can never make up my mind with Star Ocean. From the name I always expect this awesome sci-fi adventure but then when I see gameplay and the overall art style it seems really underwhelming. Will be checking the previews of this but very much on the fence at the moment.
Never played any of the Star Ocean games, but looking forward to getting stuck into a traditional RPG like this, if this is indeed what it is.

The battle system is similar to Tales of series if you've ever played those, though for whatever reason I much prefer how SO battle system handles.
@Expa0 I've played a couple of tales games and liked the battle system so will keep my eye on this. I really want Mistwalker to make another RPG to tide me over to Ni No Kuni 2.
@WARDIE action rpg kinda like Tales of, but way better imho.
Looking forward to this but hope they don't wreck it by forcing one language option over another.
