Even though Bandai Namco is localising Vita action game Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS-Force later this year, that hasn't stopped many fans from lusting after Gundam Breaker 3 - another mech-based brawler that's launching on PlayStation 4 and Vita in Japan on the 3rd March.
Sadly, there's been no word of the latter being translated and shipped West, but don't lose hope just yet, as it turns out that the Asian version of the game will feature English subtitles and text. Asia gets to break some mobile suits on the 28th April, so if you really want to get your hands on this one, you may want to consider importing it.
Meanwhile, in somewhat unrelated news, a new video's been revealed that shows off the title's impressive customisation options. Essentially, Gundam Break 3 has you smash your opponents to bits in order to collect their parts, which you can then use to craft your own custom suit. As hinted, the amount of available options is rather staggering.
Give it a watch and tell us if you'll be building gunpla later this year in the comments section below.

Quick question: If we imported the English version, would anyone want us to review it?
@ShogunRok I would like a review but I'd like it before the game came out, I'm stuck debating grabbing it.
@sonicmeerkat Sadly probably not gonna happen, but noted all the same.
@ShogunRok Eh I ordered it, jap game play footage looked decent.
I'll be grabbing this as the other 2 was brilliant, gonna hold off as I have my suspicions this is coming West... If you follow the gundam scene you will understand...
Already had the Japanese version pre-ordered as soon as it went up, but I'm thinking about grabbing the English version as it would make the building part go a little smoother, not to mention quicker for me.
Wondering if we'll see this one in Europe eventually...
It would be about time since the first two are some of my favourite PS3/Vita games.
@meppi Bandai Namco seems to localise most of its popular franchises these days, so I could see it coming West eventually. Problem is it likely won't be talked about until Vs-Force is out over here, so we'll have to wait and see to be absolutely sure.
@ShogunRok
Well that's certainly something to look forward to then!
I'll just do what I always do with EDF games for instance and grab the Japanese version, or Asian one in this case. And if it turns out that it gets a EU release, I'll grab that one again later on and replay the game.
When you get your copy, be sure to check out all the different weapon possibilities, even the unarmed fighting style as each one of these makes the gameplay very unique to one another, a bit like a fighting game or a musou game to some extent.
It's a good idea to save several builds with a variety of fighting styles so that you can test them all out and see which ones really click with you.
Yes please do a review.
Until From Software gets off their Dark fetish and makes a proper Armored Core title for the ps4, I'm desperate for a good old mech customization game. this video showed that it can handle that aspect, but it would be quite a delightful surprise if the gameplay was fun to match.
Yes I'll keep my eyes pried to this page for a review to decide if I'll import for the first time ever.
YEEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!! FINALLY AN AWESOME GUNDAM GAME FOR PS4, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE LONGEST !!! My PS4 finally get to taste ky addiction!!!
@ShogunRok 100% go get it.
@sonicmeerkat could I make a small suggestion and insist on using JPN or simply spelling out Japanese, instead of the resorting to the offensive abbreviation?
@AXEL314 I find both Japanese and JPN to be offensive slurs I'm actually going to need you to say jap from now on, since we're policing the language of others.
@sonicmeerkat not policing anyone here, honest suggestion as I am, um, Japanese. Thanks.
@AXEL314 Good for you, I'm Canadian and I don't break into tears when people say canuck as I am not a small child, thanks.
Having said all of that, I'd prefer if we didn't say "Jap" in the comments, please. I know no offence was intended by any member here, but that word does have derogatory connotations and I'd prefer we used something else. It's only two extra letters to type "Japan".
yeah, it really goes beyond someone being "butthurt" about something. it was a derrogatory term used during WW2, and meant to dehumanize and degrade our enemies at the same time that us jolly Americans were putting the Japanese into internment camps based solely on their nationality and our xenophobia. Many people might not see the connection or see it just as an abbreviation like "Brit" is to the british, but it really along the same league as the N word in terms of offense taken. so use that abbreviation in the same way youd use the N word, which should probably be never in my opinion. Doesn't matter how you see it, or many would, it is actually offensive for good historical reasons. And Canuk is not in the same ballpark whatsoever. your Vanquever team uses it as their team name and a quick Wikipedia search shows that it's commonly used and not deemed derrogatory. So just because you don't come from a people who have been violently persecuted against on basis of race, doesn't give you any right to use language that has been used to persecute others
so say sorry okay?
