We hope that you're living out your life in accordance with the state, because dystopian visual novel Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness is heading West later this year. The stylish title is based on the popular anime series, and features an original story that's set within the franchise's universe.
Much like the rather enjoyable Steins;Gate, Psycho-Pass promises a well written and intelligent story with plenty of twists and turns to keep you playing. It's being published by NIS America this autumn on PlayStation 4 and Vita.
Take a look at the game's admittedly uninformative trailer and let us know if you'll be spending some time in a dystopian future in the comments section below.

nice!
Awesome.
Dominator set to kill - my psychopass is well over 200 at this news.
Does anyone know if this will be dubbed? Was Steins;Gate dubbed?
Huh those characters look very similar to the cast of mind 0, I hope its more fun than mind 0.
An obscure title like this? Dubbed? Don't think so.
Hmm what is this about? Is this like Danganropa or Virtues Last Reward?
@AFCC
yeah, it is. it's an interactive (kinetic) visual novel.
anyways, this news breaks my heart. I love Psycho-Pass and I've been wanting this game for a long time, but I wanted it for my Xbox. This is disheartening for 2 reasons.
1) the Xbox has exclusive features that allow you to use your smarthphone or windows glass to interact with the game and help solve crime scens
and 2) Xbox had this as an exclusive for awhile, and it's not coming to the U.S., which (unless it's a licensing issue, which I doubt) means that they don't care about Japanese games outside of Final Fantasy and Resident Evil, and that they don't care about fans of Japanese games who happen to own an Xbox in the U.S.
*sigh
well, at least it's coming here.
@Cowboysfan-22 steins gate is english sub-title, but voice this in japanese. The animation tv series is english voice dubbed.
Most people won't have a clue what this is and not showing any gameplay is daft.
If the game tell an amazing story like steins:gate, then its a day one purchase for me.
Steins:gate with my equal best video game experience for 2015. Equal with witcher 3.
Hurrah for Vita games another good visual novel to add to the system hopefully

I keep meaning to watch the anime. Never get around to it, though.
@Utena-mobile Thanks. I'm excited to know more
