Koei Tecmo seemingly needs just a little more time to touch up Dead or Alive Xtreme 3's tan lines, as the summer holiday simulator has been delayed on the PlayStation 4 and Vita from 25th February to 24th March in Japan. Remember, there's no Western release date confirmed just yet as the publisher has stressed that it feels the game is more – well, tailored to Eastern tastes.
The Asian version, however, will have an English language option – and import specialists have been very eager for us to pass that information on. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. The release will mostly see you gawking at underdressed teenagers bouncing about with beach balls, but there may or may not be a bit of volleyball included on the side.

on a side note as we are on about Dead or Alive
anyone know if a DoA6 is in the works yet?
@FullbringIchigo I imagine they're focused on this for now.
@get2sammyb When did DoA turn from a fighter into a softcore porno game? Also, including multiplayer in this game is a little strange. I can't imagine anyone having a friend or relative that they would feel comfortable playing something like this with. It's a real shame that this seems to take priority over an actual DoA game.
@wariowarewolf the beach games are spinoffs not a replacement for the fighting games, it's like asking why mario became a racing game... and to be honest I wouldn't be working on DOA 6 either if I was team Ninja since they seem to be making more money with DOA 5 DLC that they would with a new game
lol. of course, the guys who would buy this would buy it online (but not all). I don't know anyone who would want to go to the cash register in a store to buy this personally (well, ok, I know 2 people that probably would, and I guess other people would too).
(-. - )
*edited... those who know, know.
@Utena-mobile
I wouldn't buy it but it's not because I'm afraid to be labeled by people I don't even f'ing know.
@Utena-mobile This'll actually be my first time with the Xtreme games, and as a guy I'd buy it in person if I could, though maybe not have my brother and sister around, as they seem to vehemently despise this sort of thing.
Also, @wariowarewolf I did find a new friends at work who are married and seem interested in this type of thing. At least, they burst into laughter at the thought of Akiba's Trip and its main draw of brawling the clothes off people.
How they plan on keeping their PS4 they want to get away from their children (All 3 are kinda young and don't seem to understand the relative fragility of Discs in general, its not so much a 'mature content worry') is going to interesting to hear though.
I love the DOA series but I never really got into the Xtreme games though. Played the original back on Xbox, it was alright and nice to look at but got bored with it quick. I didn't bother with the sequel that was released on 360. Still sucks that Xtreme 3 will not be released in the west for people who want it. I heard that some company offered Tecmo a million bucks for them to license the game. There still may be hope for it.
I've never imported a game before. What's the best way to import the English Language version to North America?
@Hordak Play Asia is the source I use to import Asian games. They list the languages supported on their website, so make sure to check before you order. The Asian release of DOA Xtreme 3 does have English language support, BTW. Be prepared to wait a week or two for it to arrive if you choose standard shipping (but then it's a surprise when it shows up at your door).
