Dragon's Dogma is an often overlooked open world role-playing release from Capcom, which released on the PlayStation 3 back in 2012. While the game wasn't perfect, it's safe to say that we absolutely loved it, and we've stated on numerous occasions that we'd love to see some sort of remaster on PlayStation 4, as well as the localisation of Dragon's Dogma Online - a massively multiplayer online title that launched in Japan last year.

However, many fans of the original release have long been hankering for something a little more substantial: a full sequel. The Japanese publisher's been relatively quiet on the matter for some time, but in an interview with PC Gamer, producer Minae Matsukawa certainly doesn't rule out a potential Dragon's Dogma 2.

Matsukawa told the publication that "the Dragon's Dogma development team members often talk about the possibility of a sequel", and that it really all depends on fan feedback with regards to Dragon's Dogma Online and the upcoming PC port of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. "We'd love to hear the opinions and feedback from players [...] as that will increase the chances that we can look into the possibility of continuing the series," she said.
