Apparently it's already 12th December, which means that many of you are probably just realising that you have Christmas gifts to buy and decorations to assemble. Gulp. There's still time to get all of that sorted, though, so we recommend shirking your responsibilities and sitting pretty with your PlayStation platform of choice. Shopping can wait another week, right?

I'm pummelling my way through Yakuza 5 on the PlayStation 3 in an attempt to deliver a timely review that all ten of you will read. You've probably made up your mind regarding Kazuma Kiryu's latest already, but we do things diligently here at Push Square Towers, so I'll be stamping on heads all weekend until I can bring you a score.

It's another horrible weekend here in the North East of England, so I'll be trying to keep snug with Fallout 4 and maybe a bit of Destiny with friends. The former has now sapped so much of my time that I need to find a reasonable stopping point before it manages to eclipse my holiday gaming plans. Look out wasteland, I'm bringing the curtain down on this 332 hour adventure – even if I can already picture Sammy shaking his head.

Due to picking up a serious dose of man flu this week, I'll be taking advantage of the well-known healing power of the PlayStation 4 by playing games all weekend. Not only will I be continuing to play the brilliant Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, but I'll also be able to finally get back to Fallout 4 now that the review silly season has come to an end.

I've recently become rather hooked to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, so between that and the import of Rock Band 3 into Rock Band 4, I'm going to have my hands rather full.

My hype levels have reached the point of giddiness, because in less than a week I'll finally be sitting in a cinema and watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so naturally I'm playing Star Wars Battlefront this weekend. Less predictably, I've kept my PS4 offline as I like to blast through its training, battles, and survival missions as a single player experience.

Sweet freedom! With the next four weeks off from my graduate classes, I'm going to start the hiatus by finishing Alien Isolation (for real this time) and seeing what Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is all about.

This weekend I'll be playing Just Cause 3, in which I'm challenging myself to fly multiple planes at once around Medici. My plan is to tether them all together and try to fly one, then stunt jump into another. I'll also be playing a bit of FIFA 16 career mode, as well as a ton of Gauntlet: Slayer Edition with my friends.

This weekend I'll be exploring a different wasteland in Nuclear Throne. It's insanely addictive. Else, you'll probably find me trippin' in The Bit Trip.

I don't know how it happened but I recently have got myself hooked on DriveClub again, so I will be tearing up the tracks this weekend. I also plan on doing my usually weekly couch co-op in Diablo III with the guys from work.
