While we're still preparing our full Game of the Year coverage here at Push Square Towers – check back during Christmas to read all that we have in store – forum user themcnoisy has been organising a Best of 2015 poll in our forums. Users were asked to pick their three favourite PlayStation games of the year, with points doled out depending on their position. And, as at The Game Awards 2015, sprawling role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won.
It was followed by Fallout 4 in second, Bloodborne in third, and Rocket League in fourth – an amazing achievement for Psyonix's vehicular soccer sim. Other titles that fared well included Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Until Dawn, and Life Is Strange. We've included the full Top 20 for your perusal pleasure below. A massive shout out to themcnoisy for organising this, and to all of our readers who took part.

I wanted to buy this yesterday for 35 euros, but on the other hand the physical game has so many things with it, that I prefer to give 10 more for it. So at the moment I am waiting to see if my wife get this for my Xmass present.
Interesting list, looks like there are a few games I will need to check out at some point. Including Fallout 4. But yeah, Witcher 3 totally deserves to win.
Great job guys.
That's a pretty good list. I reckon JC3 lost out quite a bit due to its late release, but the Witcher definitely deserved the win
Can't really argue with that top 5, can you. Some solid gaming that.
I'm actually surprised and ashamed that I haven't played half of the top 20 :/
Agreed ! Just finishing up fallout right now, I'm about 80 hours in and I'm at the point where I'm pretty much ready for the game to be over. I'm ready for some closure... The witcher on the other hand, I have put just under 200 hours into. 197 to be exact. When I was playing that game, i just never wanted it to end. I've been a massive witcher fan for a long while being really into the books and previous 2 games so I'm definitely a little biased towards it, but they did an absolutely incredible job building the world, atmosphere, characters and gameplay and have been great post launch for support. This game looked so good in 4k@60fps max settings, I was just blown away.
Guess I'm going to have to give Witcher another go, when it released I think I was a little to preoccupied. Either way Fallout I'd my personal GOTY.
Fallout 4 was my personal favourite but I still need to get The Witcher, Batman and Dying light... I have to say though I just finnished the 1st Uncharted from the collection, and what an ending. I just love how crazy the action gets after a slow start and the zombie things made me jump alot. Can't wait to start the 2nd Uncharted when I have a free day!
@Patinator - If you haven't played Uncharted 2 you are in for a real treat.
Good to see @theMcNoisy getting a shout out for all the good work he put in another reason why I love this site, the relationship between the site runners and the community is fantastic
Was anyone banned from aceppting their award?
That's a strong list! I'd say that 2015 has been one of the best years for gaming for over 7 years.
Though not my personal favourite (purely due to taste), the Witcher 3 is a worthy winner.
I'd rate Bloodborne higher than F4, and rocket league isn't even in my top 20, but still. Hard to fault any of it.
Great list and hard to argue with any of them and a very worthy winner in The Witcher. I personally went for Fallout 4 but it was very hard to choose between them, the Witcher has the better main story by some distance with much better character models and voice acting. In fact it probably has the best story of any game apart from perhaps TLOU. For me Fallout has more interesting side quests and much better general exploration and customisation, plus the rather excellent settlement mechanic, so for me the overall package wins out. Also delighted to see the recognition Rocket League is getting in our fair community.
My top 3 which are head and shoulders above the rest are
1. Fallout 4
2. Witcher 3
3. Rocket League
The rest are about where I'd put them, though Batman would probably be higher without all that tank nonsense.
Loads of brilliant games this year. So brilliant I haven't played the top 3 myself. Come on Santa bring me Witcher 3!
Hopefully in March 2016 with Sammys blessing we will be running the biggest forum vote to date, to find PlayStations Best Game Of All Time! It will be epic with multiple rounds. That really will be hard work
Everyone who voted props to you. I have been out all day and its nice to have nice messages in my inbox and an article with the winners, its really no hardship and running these votes is fun. Looks like I have to buy Witcher 3, Fallout 4 and Bloodborne.
@Splat Sounds good!
Shockingly one-sided.
Obviously some slight bias towards games recently played/completed but the results probably wouldn't change in 12 months time if the list was re voted. Personally Fallout 4 shreds everything else to a pulp this gen and although I love witcher I think dragon age was better so far this gen. Sad to see Blood Bowl 2 didn't make the top 20 but no surprise there, If we were doing 1 to 4 then I'd have also thrown Actual Sunlight a bone for being real and unapologetic.
@themcnoisy Thanks for setting up this event, man.
