It comes as no surprise, but this Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 trailer will make very little sense to anyone who hasn't dabbled in the popular manga or anime. Focussing on the latter events of the series in which a powerful ninja known as Obito basically tries to destroy just about everything, fans will appreciate the attention to detail in the cutscenes that are on display here.
It's perhaps a bit of a shame that the game won't cover the entire tale of Naruto, but we reckon it's safe to say that the stories that it does decide to cover are bound to be recreated extremely well. The stylish brawler releases across Europe and North America in February next year.

I'm so excited for this game!
Kinda strange that Bandai Namco can make Naruto fighting games like this look cool while others like Godzilla, Saint seiya and J stars Victory slightly flawed?
It's very pretty!
@SoulsBourne128 All dependant on the developer, budget, etc. Have to remember that while Bandai owns the rights to a lot of these properties, Bandai Namco is just the publisher.
For example, the Naruto games are made by CyberConnect 2, which is a really talented Japanese studio - and it's had a lot of experience making games like this.
@ShogunRok Yeah, which is why I hope CyberConnect2's next project's also anime related. I'm not a fan of Naruto but this looks really good.
I understood all of it. I seen all of it. read all of it. Its my favorite Anime.
@WanderingBullet I honestly think CyberConnect 2 could do any anime or manga franchise justice based on previous projects. That JoJo game - the PS3 one - I think it was called All-Star Battle? The attention to detail in that was absolutely brilliant, just like in the Naruto games.
Also worth remembering that the studio created Asura's Wrath, too. It was far from perfect, but it was still an incredibly worthwhile action game with a lot of cool ideas. I'd be really interested to see what it could do with another original property.
For what it's worth, I think CyberConnect 2 is a pretty underrated developer that's really one of the best that Japan currently has to offer.
@ShogunRok Yeah, I bought both JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: All Star Battle and Asura's Wrath on day one and been waiting for a sequel ever since. lol Well, actually there's JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: Eyes of Heaven but there's no mentioned of a Western release yet.
Also, I just looked up wikipedia and supposedly these were listed as their next projects:
TBA Untitled Open-World Game
TBA Untitled RPG Game
TBA Untitled VR Game
It doesn't say for which platform(s), though.
