Wolfenstein The New Order PS4 PlayStation 4 1
"I wasn't supposed to say that, was I?"

Bad news for Adolf Hitler: it sounds like a Wolfenstein: The New Order sequel is in the works. It's hardly a surprise, as Machine Games knocked it out of the park with its previous entry and expansion The Old Blood, but it's nice to get a bit of confirmation – even if it doesn't come courtesy of an official source.

Instead, voice actress Alicja Bachleda-Curuś was speaking on Polish television. The star – who played Anya Oliwa in the game – talked about her role on the original title, before adding: "Now we're making a second one, which will take two more years. I played this game as a child. I was very happy when I got to the point where I could shoot Hitler." Brutal – she looks like such a nice girl, too.

On topic, this quote seems just about as clear cut as you can get, but we've still reached out to Bethesda to try and get some kind of clarification. Last year, The New Order's creative director Jens Mathies told a Reddit question and answer session that he had plenty of ideas for a sequel and would "love" to make one. It would appear that he got his wish.
