Bad news for Adolf Hitler: it sounds like a Wolfenstein: The New Order sequel is in the works. It's hardly a surprise, as Machine Games knocked it out of the park with its previous entry and expansion The Old Blood, but it's nice to get a bit of confirmation – even if it doesn't come courtesy of an official source.
Instead, voice actress Alicja Bachleda-Curuś was speaking on Polish television. The star – who played Anya Oliwa in the game – talked about her role on the original title, before adding: "Now we're making a second one, which will take two more years. I played this game as a child. I was very happy when I got to the point where I could shoot Hitler." Brutal – she looks like such a nice girl, too.
On topic, this quote seems just about as clear cut as you can get, but we've still reached out to Bethesda to try and get some kind of clarification. Last year, The New Order's creative director Jens Mathies told a Reddit question and answer session that he had plenty of ideas for a sequel and would "love" to make one. It would appear that he got his wish.

Not surprising given the positive critical reception. I've still not picked TNO up yet, but as each of them costs around a tenner now I've been meaning to ask - what should I play first, The New Order or The Old Blood?
@SteveButler2210 The New Order is one of my favourite games. I didn't really bother finishing The Old Blood. I guess I loved the more emotional tone of The New Order. TOB has much less focus on story.
"In my dream, I smell a barbecue. Children, a dog, and I see someone. I think I see someone. These things, none of it for me. I move by roaring engines, among warriors. We come from the night."
@kyleforrester87 I really need to play this game. It's been sitting sealed on my shelf for a long while!
@get2sammyb Unacceptable!!
TO was one of the best single player shooters I've ever played. It was way better than it had any need to be.
I never got the Old Blood but I played and enjoyed NWO.
@Johnnycide I gotta say I enjoyed it more than Half-Life 2, and I really enjoyed Half-Life 2.
Went in expecting an average shooter. Hope Doom works out well, too.
I liked The New Order but didn't love it. Not sure if I'd be into a sequel...
@get2sammyb Play on Uber! The stealth is a lot of fun in that game.
