Well this came out of nowhere. According to Konami Europe's official Twitter account, using Quiet as a companion during mission 29 or mission 42 can corrupt your save file. No further details have been given, but we thought that it was best to get the word out.
Quiet is one of the few buddies that you can take on missions with you in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Her inclusion in these particular operations clearly screws something up rather badly, so we'd assume that this issue will be getting patched as soon as possible.

Lucky break, I fully intended to use Quiet on mission 29, and wondered for most of it what the hell she was doing, before finishing and realising that I'd not actually deployed her, as the game had for some reason taken her off my loadout! (The green Diamond Dogs symbol I'd been able to see actually represented a jeep, which the game had mysteriously decided to ADD to my loadout without my input - something which has happened for me a couple of times)
Whoa. I've used her a few times on mission 29... It hasn't happened to me, yet. Whew, guess I lucked out; I don't really like fighting the Skulls without her. On that mission in particular (I haven't yet gotten to mission 42) she is incredibly useful. It would really be a bit of drag if I lost the 70 plus hours of progress that I've put into the game so far. Thanks for the heads up!
@Constable_What she's been my go too, but I haven't done 42 yet as you can complete the game without it. Luckily, I backed up my save before 41 to go back to after game completion (do this, seriously), so wouldn't have lost too much progress if this was to happen!
Thanks for the heads up. When I started the game it popped as a warning message! Is that hard to beta test game these days?
Anyway I made a tranq. sniper rifle for her and he justs puts everyone to sleep and I can extract them and infiltrate easily.
Luckily I'm not that far into it yet, but it's good to know I guess.

I did mission 29 with her and it all looks ok so far.
I'm on mission 5 or 6, and busy with side ops. This will be patched long before I get to it.
